SPA residents could really get into the seasonal spirit if they won their share of the £1,500 being given away by local businesses throughout December.
The Christmas Times sees Droitwich get its own advent calendar with gift ideas and prizes given away everyday between now and Christmas Eve when there will be a bumper £700 prize on offer.
Entry to the competition, which is supported by Wychavon District Council, is free. All potential participants have to do is visit www.visitdroitwichspa.com and like the Facebook page.
Competition posts will be sent out daily and the winners announced the following day.
Among the prizes are gift vouchers, free meals, pamper sessions, gifts and discount or free gym membership.
Around 40 Droitwich businesses are also offering discount vouchers to shoppers which are available to pick up from venues throughout the town or on the Visit Droitwich Spa website.
Janet Yates, Wychavon’s Droitwich Spa business partnerships manager, said it was a fantastic way for people to support local businesses and great that so many Droitwich traders were taking part.
