THREE people became stranded in Shell Ford in Himbleton, Droitwich, when it became flooded.
Two Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue crews – one each from Droitwich and Worcester – attended.
They were assisted by boat crews from Worcester and Evesham and the water first responders from Droitwich.
The vehicle became trapped at 3.50pm yesterday (Wednesday, December 27).
All occupants were out of the vehicle before the arrival of the fire service who secured the vehicle and closed off the road.
Three people were left in the care of West Mercia Police and it was reported on social media one was taken to hospital.
