A DROITWICH fire crew averted disaster when there was a fuel leak at a town petrol station.
The spillage happened on Tuesday evening (September 1) after the pump at the BP garage, Worcester Road, was damaged.
Firefighters managed to isolate the pump and then used a fuel absorbent to soak up the spill.
