FIREFIGHTERS from Droitwich Fire Station turned out to be knights in shining armour when they rescued four elderly people from a lift.
The incident happened around 3.50pm on Wednesday at a property in Tower Hill.
The crew ‘gave advice’ to the owners of the building following the rescue to ensure the same issue did not re-occur in the future.
