Droitwich Editorial 16th Jan, 2017   0

THE FIRST Droitwich Messy Church will take place between 10am and midday next Saturday (January 21).

Activities at St Andrews Church will include making animal coasters, bird gliders, fish and mobiles to show the new beginning in creation.

There will be songs, a short talk and a free lunch of sandwiches and cake.

Messy Church is free and open to all children of all ages accompanied by an adult.

Rev Bev Jameson, team vicar of Droitwich Spa, Salwarpe and Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree, said “It is good to be back with some great crafts and great food to begin the new year in style at Messy Church.”

Mum Louise Thurston said her son Ben had been really looking forward to Messy Church starting up again.

The Parish Centre Cafe will be closed to the public that day.

The nearest car park is at Waitrose.
