A MASSIVE fire broke out in Droitwich in the early hours of this morning.
It happened at 4.23am on the Rushock Trading Estate.
Such was the severity, residents living nearby were warned to keep all their doors and windows closed.
Five crews were sent to the scene – three from Droitwich and two from Wyre Forest – and battled the blaze for several hours using four water jets.
Firefighters also had to break in to tackle the fire from the inside.
Crews are still on the scene damping down the area to ensure it does not reignite.
An inspection will be carried out at midday.
The cause of the fire is still not yet known.
