FIVE men have been arrested after hundreds of cannabis plants were seized during a drug raid in Droitwich.
Police said the raid took place at an empty business on Queen Street yesterday (Sunday, February 28), following a tip-off from a local resident.
The men, aged between 20 and 28, were arrested on suspicion of producing the drug.
Safer Neighbourhood Inspector, Alex Warner, said: “Acting on information from the community, we have disrupted a large cannabis cultivation in Droitwich and have arrested five men on suspicion of production of cannabis.
“We want to make our communities even safer. When residents help us by providing this type of valuable information, we really are tackling serious and organised crime together.”
