FIVE motorists were caught speeding on the A38 in Fernhill Heath yesterday.
The speeds in the 30mph zone ranged from 41 to 47.
They will now be facing fines and penalty points.
The checks were part of an operation started earlier this month in conjunction with the National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC).
The scheme was timed to coincide with the number of vehicles on the roads increasing after the Government relaxed the lockdown laws.
