Floral fun as Droitwich in Bloom is back for the summer

Droitwich Editorial 22nd May, 2023   0

THE town’s artificial flower trail, Droitwich in Bloom, is back in bud this year with eight colourful and creative floral displays.

The flower trail, available to visit until September 1, will feature four new additions this year, which have been installed around Droitwich for people to hunt for.

A children’s art rubbing trail has been introduced this year, with youngsters able to grab a free activity book which they can then use to make a rubbing at each location.

Those who collect all eight will be given stickers and a free packet of seeds they can plant at home.

Activity booklets, including trail maps, are available from Droitwich Heritage Centre, Bluebells Florist or Nelly’s Yard.

And spare room arts will be hosting free floral-themed arts and crafts workshops during August.

The sessions will allow youngsters to make their own paper flower crowns and wreaths.

Visitors are encouraged to share their pictures from the trail by tagging @ValeandSpa and using #DroitwichInBloom on social media.
