MEMBERS of SPArkles WI left a number of bouquets around Droitwich to celebrate National Flower Arranging Day.
The blooms were put with a note explaining the gesture and the giving the contact details of the group.
It was part of the nationwide ‘Lonely Bouquet’ scheme by Women’s Institute groups all over the country.
The idea was to spread a little joy by making a small bouquet, or even just a single bloom, and leaving it somewhere for a random stranger to find.
Among the places chosen by SPArkles WI were on a bench in Vines Park and at the Droitwich Spa Medical Centre.
