CHILDREN from Bromsgrove and Droitwich are being invited to make their own spooky lanterns for Halloween.
Webbs Garden Centre, in Wychbold, has 1,500 pumpkins for youngsters to scoop out ready for faces to be carved on and electric t-lights to put in them.
The workshops will run from next Monday (October 26) to Halloween (Saturday, October 31) with three slots available – 10.30 to midday, 12.30pm to 2pm and 2.30pm to 4pm. Tickets cost £5 per child
There is also a trail through the Riverside Garden which youngsters can follow. That will be available to do from Saturday October 24 until Sunday November 1, at 11am. Correct entries at the end will be put into a prize draw.
Chairman Ed Webb said: “We have piles of pumpkins ready and waiting as the workshops are always very popular.
“The youngsters can’t wait to get stuck in and have something creative to show at the end of it.”
