AS WIMBLEDON fortnight reaches its half-way point on Saturday, July 6, the courts in Droitwich’s Lido Park will host a tennis festival.
The organisers of the popular ‘Tennis in the Lido Park’ sessions have joined forces with Judy Murray’s ‘She Rallies’ programme to put on the extravaganza for women, girls, mums, daughters, grandmothers and grandaughters of all ages and abilities.
The fun afternoon will be run by Tina Manning, the Midlands Ambassador for She Rallies who has been personally trained by Judy.
Neil Bates, from Tennis in the Lido Park, said: “This is an amazing opportunity for women and girls from the town who would like to play tennis to get involved alongside like-minded people with no pressure.
“All the equipment will be provided and it suits players from as young as five.”
Tina and her all female team will be running two sessions on Saturday – one at 1pm and one at 2pm.
