A FASHION show at M and Co held by the Friends of Droitwich Spa Lido (FODSL) last Friday raised £607 towards the outdoor attraction, writes Demi Andrews.
The event featured more than a dozen amateur models displaying three sets of clothes for the audience.
In the past, funds have helped purchase picnic tables, deckchairs, canoes, float mats and zorbs.
Suzi Wood, the chair of the FODSL said: “It was a voluntary community team effort for a good cause.”
She thanked M and Co for hosting the event, the Verger of St Nicholas’ Church for loaning the chairs, Bourne Decorators for supplying a vehicle to FODSL supporters and local businesses which donated raffle prizes.
The next event at M and Co is for Cancer Research UK, at 6.30pm next Friday, November 23.
Tickets are £3 each and are available at both M and Co and Droitwich’s Cancer Research UK shop.
