RESIDENTS looking to start the new year with a new job can go along to a special event being held at Droitwich Library between 11am and 2.30pm on Tuesday (January 31).
The free event, being run by Fortis Living in conjunction with Worcestershire County Council, is open to all job seekers and features free friendly advice and job searching tips, representatives from local employers and details of training opportunities.
It will enable people to check out vacancies and get help applying for work.
There will also be refreshments available.
Droitwich Library also runs a Jobs Club every Tuesday from 10am to midday which is also run in conjunction with Fortis.
The sessions help participants with job searches, CVs and applications, and even offer help and support with items, such as interview techniques.
