THE RED carpet was rolled out at Droitwich’s Dorset House Nursing Home as they greeted youngsters from nearby Blue Giraffe Childcare for a heart-warming graduation ceremony.
The children donned mortarboard hats as they celebrated heading off to school in September.
A colourful bouncy castle was erected at the Care home for youngsters to enjoy as residents and graduates shared stories with one another.
Lisa Davies, the Lifestyle Coordinator at Dorset House, said: “Intergenerational connections have a profound effect on the well-being of both the residents and the young children.
“These interactions create a sense of purpose and fulfillment for our residents, while the children benefit from the wisdom and companionship of their elders.
“The residents of Dorset House wish the young graduates of Blue Giraffe Childcare Droitwich the best as they join school next year.”
