THE NEW florist’s shop Flowers by Tamsin was officially launched in Droitwich yesterday.
More than 20 people turned up for the opening on Friar Street, next to the Old Cock Inn.
Tamsin King, who has opened the business selling beautiful gifts and fresh flowers with her partner John Haynes, cut the ribbon and guests enjoyed prosecco and cake.
In her speech she said: “Thank you all for supporting me.
“I’m very excited to have my own work space so I can fulfil my passion for flowers.
“Everyone is welcome to come down at any time and see what we have to offer.”
The florist boasts modern bespoke flowers for weddings, funerals and other occasions and also offers free local delivery.
Family friend and one of the first customers through the door Sarah Mitten said: “This has been a dream for Tamsin for such a long time and it is great she has achieved it.
“It’s great that after seeing all of the wedding arrangements on her Facebook page there is now a place where everyone can come and buy some of her floral creations.”
Tamsin achieved a City and Guilds in floristry in 2003 and another in 2005 and has been a florist for more than 15 years.
