Heartless thieves steal ornaments from graves in Droitwich churchyards

HEARTLESS thieves have struck at churchyards across Droitwich.
At Dodderhill Church, Crutch Lane, Droitwich, two kingfisher ornaments and a monk statue were stolen from a grave.
The incident happened between 2pm on August 30 and 1.45pm on October 10.
Thieves also targeted St Augustine’s Churchyard, Church Road, at some point between 5pm on October 4 and 5pm on October 13 when two bumble bee lanterns, six solar powered lights and a white vase were stolen from a child’s grave.
And then, between 5.38pm on October 9 and 4pm on October 13, at the same churchyard, a statue of an angel was stolen from a grave.
Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
