THE TEAM at Droitwich estate agent Nicol and Co has chosen the winning entry in its Christmas card design contest.
Competition was tough with more than 130 entries and residents got to vote on Facebook for the creations they liked.
The best 14 entries were shortlisted and the team then chose the one designed by 12-year-old Holly Edwards as the winner.
She scooped £500 for her school – St John’s CofE Middle School in Bromsgrove, along with a large Christmas goodie bag and copies of the card for friends and family.
The 13 runners-up also received a £20 gift voucher for Smyths Toy Store.
Matt Nicol said: “We were amazed at the response from all the children and it was really tough to choose a winner.
“I had to leave it to a democratic vote and Holly’s was chosen by a lot of the staff.”
He added the company would be running a similar competition around Easter time and urged residents to keep an eye on the Nicol and Co Facebook page for more updates.
