Hundreds of cannabis plants seized by Droitwich Police at property in Hartlebury

TWO PEOPLE were arrested after a cannabis farm was uncovered.

The pair were held on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs.

It came after a warrant was executed by Droitwich Police at a property in Hartlebury this morning (Monday).

A man, aged 54, and a woman, aged 53, are currently in custody as enquires continue.

During the search, three underground shipping containers were uncovered, believed to contain hundreds of cannabis plants.

The warrant was led by the Droitwich Police Safer Neighbourhood Team and patrol officers from West Mercia Police, supported by Hereford and Worcester Fire Service, West Midlands CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) team and WMAS (West Midlands Ambulance Service) Hart Team.




Sgt Jacob Jeffrey said: “We will continue to tackle drug dealing and the harm it causes to our communities.

“We’d like to thank our partner agencies who supported us in this successful operation, with a substantial grow uncovered and the drug trade disrupted.”
