POLICE are looking to crack down on inconsiderate and illegal parking in Wychbold.
Residents have raised concerns about parking in the area, leading to worries from the police that this could put pedestrians and other road users in danger, as well as creating an obstruction for emergency vehicles.
Recently, a member of the safer neighbourhood team, along with Councillor Rick Dellar and Council Support Officer Gill Lungley, conducted a walkabout along School Road,Chequers Road, St. Richard’s Road, Cross Furlong, De Wyche Road and Amphlett Way.
Officers have been talking to motorists and advising them of the law as well as working with partners to find alternative off-road parking opportunities, particularly near schools.
