AN ILLUSTRATED talk of the ‘Railways of Worcestershire’ is set to be held next month at Droitwich Community Hall.
As part of the Droitwich History and Archaeology Society event, the talk by Philip Jarvis will start at 7.30pm on February 7 in the John Corbett Room.
The popular topic covers how railways inspire nostalgia and pride in the achievements of the Victorian age and a transport system which brought the county into the modern age.
Entry for members is £2 and £4 for visitors. All are welcome.
