Droitwich Editorial 10th Jun, 2017   0

INTERNATIONAL artists are being called to send their artwork on a postcard to be displayed during Droitwich ArtsFest 2017.

Now in its third year, the International Open Postcard Mail Art Exhibition will display the postcards, free of charge, at Droitwich Library from August 1 until August 30.

The event is part of the Droitwich ArtsFest 2017 which runs from July 15 until August 5 and the art will also be published on the Mail Art website.

Tamara Jelaca, founder and organiser of the project, said: “This is an inspirational, easy and affordable way to bring art to the wider public.

“This Mail Art Exhibition is certainly putting Droitwich on the world art map.

“I have already received postcard art from around the world and I look forward to receiving further contributions”.

Mail Art must be registered before the June 15 deadline by emailing submission details to [email protected] or post to 19 Impney Way, Droitwich Spa, WR9 7EJ, United Kingdom.
