AN EVENING of jazz music will be held at the Sacred Heart Hall in Droitwich to raise funds for The Friends of Droitwich Spa Lido.
The event, at 7.30pm next Friday (October 24), will feature five-piece band Jazz Alchemy.
Playing drums, bass, guitar, keys and saxaphone, along with vocals, the group will perform music from the 1930s and 40s through to rock and pop of the present day, via the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.
Among the songs being played will be material from the likes of Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, John Coltrane, George Benson and Stevie Wonder.
Chairman Suzi Wood urged Spatans to go along and support the ongoing existence of the Lido.
