THIS SUNDAY (November 27) there will be an informal Advent service at Droitwich’s St Andrews Church.
The event, which starts at 3pm, will feature 45 minutes of songs and things to do in a relaxed atmosphere.
Being the first Sunday of Advent, those attending will be looking around the church for things which epitomise what Advent means and there will be free chocolates for people to take home and put on their tree.
Children are especially welcome and they will have great fun finding things for their free advent carry box.
Rev Bev Jameson, Team Vicar Droitwich Spa, Salwarpe and Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree, said: “It is a great way to begin advent and the run up to Christmas. Everyone of any age will really enjoy it.”
There is parking close by on Waitrose car park which is free on a Sunday.
