THE NEXT Messy Church takes place at St Andrews Church in Droitwich tomorrow (Saturday).
Participants at the event, which runs from 10am to midday, will be able to make aeroplanes, flip flops, chocolate cars, boat maps and more.
The last Messy Church was the event’s first birthday which was attended by 67 youngsters, along with their mums and dads.
The ‘journeys’ theme chosen for tomorrow’s session was selected because now it has completed its first year, the Messy Church is ‘journeying into its second year’.
As well as the crafts there will also be songs, a short talk and a free lunch of sandwiches and cake.
Messy Church is free and open to all children of all ages accompanied by an adult.
Rev Bev Jameson, the team vicar at Droitwich Spa, Salwarpe and Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree and the Dean of Women’s Ministry Diocese of Worcester, said: “I love the chocolate cars – they are brilliant.”
The Messy Church session means the Parish Centre Cafe will be closed to the public tomorrow.
