THE DROITWICH Spa Lido is set to reopen for the summer months next Saturday, May 27.
The Lido, which is among the few remaining inland, open-air saltwater swimming pools, will be making its welcome return over the May bank holiday weekend, with visitors able to book up to two days in advance.
As well as the 40m pool, which can accommodate 1,600 people, people can enjoy the wet play area with fountains and water cannons and the cafe and sun terrace.
General swim sessions, which are limited to a maximum of two hours, will cost adults £8 each, with children aged between two and 15 getting in for £6.
The stronger swimmers will be able to complete widths for an hour with the early morning and afternoon swims for £6 each.
The outdoor Lido pool can also be hired out for parties over the summer months.
Almost 10,000 people flocked to the popular Lido across five days last July as Britain experienced an extreme heatwave.
