A KIDDERMINSTER hair salon spread some Christmas cheer to Droitwich youngsters with their festive toy appeal.
Stacey Mcknight Hairdressing in Blakedown launched the appeal and asked friends, family, local residents and salon clients to donate toys to deliver to Westlands First School.
The festive scheme, now a much-loved annual tradition at the Blakedown salon, invited people to donate gifts of any size in the run-up to Christmas, and saw an overwhelming response with toys filling up their space.
Dozens of toys were delivered to Westlands First School in Droitwich, ensuring dozens of children will wake up to something special this Christmas.
Salon owner Stacey Mcknight said: “We are truly overwhelmed by everyone’s generous donations to our annual Christmas toy collection for underprivileged children.
“This year, we were proud to support Westlands First School in Droitwich, and your kindness will mean more to those children than words can ever express.
“Because of you, Santa will be paying these children a visit this year with some incredible gifts! Thank you once again for your generosity and support.”
