KINDHEARTED charity workers have donated £100 to Droitwich Spa Foodbank.
Droitwich United Charities (DUC) handed over the cheque during a tour of the foodbank, which is currently based in the Baptist Church and provides emergency food parcels for people experiencing a temporary financial crisis.
Chairman of DUC, Coun Richard Morris, said: “The charity aims to make provision of small grants to individuals and organisations within the boundaries of Droitwich Spa, essentially supporting those who struggle to exist in everyday life.
“It has been a great way to support people in Droitwich in the past and we have donated to the Salvation Army, nursing homes, victims of flooding and school uniforms, to name a few.”
