THE FANTASTIC fund-raising of Colonel Tom Moore inspired a Droitwich five-year-old to get creative and generate funds for the NHS.
After seeing the centenarian in action on his walks Jack Banks, who attends the town’s St Peters C of E School, offered to draw pictures for family and friends in return for donations.
He set himself a target of £280 but by yesterday, when he had finished all his drawings ready to send off, he had £300 pledged for his cause.
Proud dad Scott Banks said: “It was all his idea, as was the amount he wanted to raise.”
