LAPTOPS, a tablet, a mobile phone and an iPod were stolen when two vehicles in Droitwich were broken into in a matter of hours.

In the first attack in Squirrel Bank, Kestrel Crescent, between 2pm yesterday and 10.30am this morning, thieves smashed their way into a van, stealing a backpack, laptop, iPad, gloves and a phone charger.

Then, in Hedgehog Walk, Newland Lane, between 11pm last night and 5am this morning, a vehicle was targeted with thieves escaping with a Dell professional laptop, an iPhone 6, an iPod, a gym bag and headphones.

Police have issued a warning to drivers to ensure they do not leave valuables on display in their vehicles and to keep them locked.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
