THE FINAL ‘Wonky Droitwich’ picture created by artist Rosie Philpott to depict the town’s High Street in a quirky way will be available at tomorrow’s Droitwich Spa Food and Drink Festival.
Since the original sold in 2012, 250 limited edition prints were made and now there is only one left – once that has gone, there will be no more.
Festival visitors have the chance to own the last print by leaving an offer in a sealed envelope with their contact details at Rosie’s stall or by emailing a bid to [email protected] before Monday’s closing date (June 20).
Bids start at £125 with any profit made going to The Salvation Army Big Collection.
The A2-sized picture is framed, signed number 250/250 and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Rosie said: “This was my first ‘wonky’ picture and I could never have imagined how popular it would be.
“It started my career off and it is lovely to see people’s reactions when they see it for the first time and save up to buy a copy.”
The picture has been bought by local businesses, as presents for special occasions and sent all over the world. It even appeared on BBC One.
Rosie thanked Droitwich people for their continued support.
