THE SECOND of a new monthly informal church service designed for families will take place at Droitwich’s St Andrews Church at 3pm on Sunday (October 23).
Last month’s harvest-themed service was hailed a great success with more than 70 adults and children attending.
Sunday’s, which will last no longer than 45 minutes and focus on ‘light and dark’ will feature a variety of fun activities including using torches to look for treasure inside the church.
It will also include lots of songs, things to do, free glow sticks for attendees to take home and tea, coffee and cake afterwards.
Rev Bev Jameson said: “It is a great informal relaxed service for anyone of any age and we always have enough delicious homemade cake to sink a battleship.”
