ANYONE interested in becoming an on-call firefighter will be able to attend a recruitment event tomorrow (Tuesday).
The event will get under way at 6.30pm at Droitwich fire station and will allow people to learn more about the role and ask any questions.
On-call firefighters are over 18 and live within roughly five minutes of Droitwich fire station.
The station has an on-call fire engine, which is crewed by a team who work or live in Droitwich and responds to emergency calls whenever needed.
Full training, uniform and personal development are provided as well as opportunities to gain additional skills and qualifications.
On-call firefighters will need to attend a weekly training session, usually held on a weekday evening.
