TRAIN passengers using West Midlands Railway can now view real-time information about their journey by accessing on-board Wi-Fi.
The ‘Live Train Progress’ feature has been developed by GoMedia and is available on every journey.
Customers travelling to or from Redditch, Bromsgrove and Droitwich can see real-time station calling times, disruption to journeys and departure information for any onward train connections.
People will also be able to watch TV shows, movie trailers and keep up to date with the latest news, sport and weather.
Jonny Wiseman, customer experience director at West Midlands Railway, said: “This latest initiative is just one of the steps we’re taking to help customers travel with confidence.
“Our passengers are at the heart of everything we do and launching this new enhanced service will be a useful resource to ensure they can plan their journey, access live updates, and explore a range of media content for entertainment.”
