DROITWICH SPA Photographic Society’s new season of talks, workshops and competitions is now under way.
Meetings are held every Monday night and new members are always welcome.
Art photographer Tony Winfield will be the first guest speaker this Monday (September 8), running an introduction to digital photography.
The first competition of the season will be run by the club on October 6.
Participants can submit printed images on any subject or pictures for digital projection with an ‘urban photography’ theme.
Al Haden, the club’s chair, said: “Here at Droitwich Spa Photographic Society we value making friends as highly as making good images.
“At meetings members share what they’ve learnt or are learning with each other, try to solve each other’s problems, and support each other’s photography.”
The small friendly club welcomes people of any ability or experience and prides itself on helping photographers develop in a relaxed and friendly environment.
