A LORRY driver was pulled over on the M5 near Droitwich after police officers spotted him on his mobile phone behind the wheel.
The stop was made earlier this afternoon by officers from Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit (OPU) near Junction 5.
Using a handheld mobile phone whilst driving is illegal and can usually land the motorist a £200 fine and up to six points on their licence.
Drivers can also be taken to court where they could face a ban and a fine of up to £1,000 or £2,500 for lorry and bus drivers.
