A DRIVER had a lucky escape when his car was swept away and submerged in rapid floodwaters.
It happened earlier today at Shell Ford in Himbleton.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “It was a very lucky escape for the driver.
“Fords become dangerous places during flood weather and should be avoided.
“Taking a detour is better than putting you life at risk.”
