Man in his 50s seriously hurt after being knocked down in Droitwich

A PEDESTRIAN has suffered serious injuries after being knocked over on Hanbury Road, outside the Eagle and Sun pub.

The man in his 50s, was struck by a silver Vauxhall Astraat about 4.20pm yesterday (Wednesday).

The man suffered serious head, arm, pelvic and back injuries and received emergency treatment at the scene to stabilise him before he was taken to the major trauma unit at Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital for emergency treatment.

Police are now appealing for information and urge anyone who may have seen anything to contact them on the non emergency 101 number or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
