A POLICE dog helped locate a knife and detain a man who fled from officers in Droitwich.
The knife was found by the tenacious PD Alvin in woodland and the suspect was located nearby.
The man was arrested and taken into custody.
West Mercia Police’s Dog Unit said of the incident on Tuesday night,: “PD Alvin attended to do what he does best.”
