A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an attack in Droitwich.
The incident happened around 8.30pm on Tuesday on the Westlands Estate.
A man was found with serious injuries in the street.
Several roads were cordoned off by police investigating the incident.
The man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder is from Surrey.
He is currently being quizzed at Worcester Police Station.
Det Insp Chris Percival of Worcester Reactive CID, said: “The suspect and the victim are known to each other.
“There is no wider risk to the community.”
It is understood the man suffered serious leg injuries which could be potentially life-changing.
Witnesses or anyone with information on the incident should call West Mercia Police on 101.
