A MAN in his 40s was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Hanbury Road yesterday afternoon.
It happened around 4.40pm.
One ambulance was sent to the scene and the man was taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
The car driver was assessed by paramedics before being discharged.
The road was closed while the emergency services dealt with the situation and was reopened later in the evening.
