A SUSPECTED armed robbery at a Post Office in Holt Heath on Tuesday (May 20) has prompted a police appeal to locate the offender.
Around 9.40am, a quantity of cash was stolen from the Post Office in the Cottage Stores along the A443 in Holt Heath after a man entered the shop and threatened a staff member.
The male suspect was dressed in all black with black paint on his face and was in ‘possession of what is believed to be a handgun.’
Officers are looking to identify the man and a car which was seen in the area at the time of the incident.
DC Elle May from Worcester CID said: “Although the incident caused distress to the victim, thankfully, no one was injured.
“We are keen to identify a grey Renault Clio which was seen on the corner of School Lane at the time of the incident.”
Anyone driving along the road at the time of the incident is urged to get in touch with police if they have dashcam footage.
