A HOST of fun activities are taking place at Churchfields Farm during the half-term break to keep youngsters busy.

The ‘Crafts and Calves’ events enable children and families to meet the young cows in ‘meet and greet’ sessions and take part in free workshops.

The Droitwich farm has teamed up with local independent creative businesses to host a series of free workshops for little ones throughout the week.

Children can learn to make their own jewellery with BlueKat Design, create keepsakes for the home with My Little Pink Shed, and do some modelling with Jumping Clay, among others.

Payton Judy (pictured) is a Holstein Fresian Heifer.

The farm is also showcasing its Short Horns which are a heritage breed. Churchfields Farm has been raising calves since the family moved to Droitwich over a century ago.

Churchfields Farm is free to visit and is open daily from 9am until 5pm.

The calves will be making guest appearances regularly on a daily basis throughout half term.

Timings for the creative workshops can be found by visiting the website churchfields-farm.co.uk/feb-half-term/ or by calling the farm on 01905 451289 for more information.
