A NUMBER of services and memorial events will be held across Droitwich Spa this weekend and on Monday, the day of The Queen’s funeral.

Sunday, September 18
9.30am – Traditional Service with Holy Communion – St Michael’s and All Angels in Martin Hussingtree,
11am – Traditional Service with Holy Communion – St Augustine’s in Dodderhill
11am – Contemporary Service with Prayers and Reflection – St Andrew’s Church, Droitwich
A Vigil and Moment of Reflection for The Queen
Sunday, September 18
8pm – A Vigil for The Queen with a speech, moment of reflection and the singing of the National Anthmem – Bandstand, Droitwich Spa Lido Park
The Screening of The Queen’s Funeral and a service
Monday, September 19
From 10.30am, The Queen’s funeral will be live-streamed at St Andrew’s Church for those who want to share the moment with others. Doors open at 10am.
4pm – The Droitwich Royal British Legion will hold a tribute service to The Queen at the town’s war memorial. People should gather at 3.50pm.

Other ways The Queen is being remembered in Droitwich
The flag outside St Richard’s House is being flown at half-mast and a Book of Condolence has been opened in the Council Chamber which people can sign between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday and from 10am to 1.30pm on Saturday.
Floral tributes have been laid in the garden of St Richard’s House, Victoria Square.
