THE MET Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice and snow across Worcestershire.

According to the Government agency, showers of hail sleet and snow on Tuesday evening could leave a covering of 3cm to 6cm in places, especially on higher ground.

Forecasters suggest: ‘The public should be aware of the risk of tricky driving conditions’.

The latest forecast for Droitwich by the Met Office suggests we could be getting some sleet about midnight and some of the white stuff from 4am tomorrow morning (Wednesday).

The yellow warning currently in place for the West Midlands for snow urges residents to ‘be aware’ of the situation.
