A DROITWICH Indian restaurant has been officially recommended by restaurantguru.com after impressing with its meals and service.
It comes as The Vasaanti already has a four-star Google score (out of five) from 121 reviews,
And the popular eatery has an equally impressive 4.5 (also out of 5) on TripAdvisor – from 300 reviews on that platform.
Visitors who have left testomonies after heading to the High Street venue frequently mentioned the ‘great service’ and a host of dishes offered there, including the dhansak, tikka bhuna and pathia.
Also getting plenty of mentions was the Early Bird Menu which has proved really popular with customers since its introduction.
Akbar Miah, also known as Aki, took over the High Street restaurant from his brother who has moved on for a new challenge.
He arrived in Droitwich towards the end of last year after 17 years of running the popular India Spice in Bromsgrove.
One of the first things he did was have the restaurant retested by the local authority, maintaining the five-star hygiene rating.
Aki also introduced a new menu – keeping some of the favourites which were loved by Vasaanti customers and bring in new dishes which people may have not tried before.
The early bird menu offers customers poppadoms, a starter, a main course and any rice or naan for just £12.95 between 5.30pm and 7pm Monday to Thursday and just £13.95 on Friday and Saturday for the same deal.
