MORE THAN 30 firefighters are currently battling a severe blaze at a barn in Himbleton.
Five Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews – two from Bromsgrove and one each from Droitwich, Redditch and Worcester – are fighting the flames.
A water carrier from Evesham, incident command unit from Ledbury and the welfare vehicle from Tenbury Wells were also called to the incident which broke out just after 4.30am this morning.
The fire is in an agricultural building Himbleton – a 30m by 10m barn which is half full of hay.
The area has been sectorised with the fire being fought using three main jets.
The incident is ongoing but good progress is being made and it has now been scaled back to two fire engines.
