More than 40 youngsters turned up to Droitwich's 'Keeping the Peace' Messy Church

MORE than 40 youngsters turned out to Droitwich’s latest Messy Church session.

The get-together on Saturday, in the run up to the centenary of the end of the First World War, had the theme ‘Keeping the Peace’.

The children made peace globes, poppies and heart cupcakes at the session which was held at St Nicholas’ Church, Ombersley Road, as St Andrews is still closed for roof repairs.

Rev Nigel Byard said: “It went really well.

“The move from St Andrews was fine and we had some pretty impressive creations.”
