THERE was plenty of excitement at Worcestershire Hospice’s Messy Madness fun run as 600 people covered themselves with foam and paint.
The crowds turned out in numbers for the 5K event at Churchfields Farm, near Droitwich, on Saturday, 27 July for St Richard’s Hospice summer event.
Kelly, Fundraiser at St Richard’s Hospice, said: “The day was fabulous, everyone was in high spirits despite the rain and the atmosphere was fun-filled.”
“A big thank you to those who took part, raising more than £25,000 for our care so far.”
Kelly also thanked the event sponsor, Majestic Bingo, for its support.
St Richard’s Hospice cares for adults with a serious progressive illness, improving their quality of life from diagnosis to their last days.
Each year, the hospice team supports more than 3,300 patients, family members and bereaved people in Worcestershire.
