MID-WORCESTERSHIRE MP Nigel Huddleston paid a visit to Droitwich Spa’s new and improved High Street as part of Small Business Saturday.
During the annual, nationwide event on Saturday, Mr Huddleston spent the day visiting businesses in his constituency and learning more about the part that they played in their local communities.
He stopped at several shops in and around Droitwich High Street.
His final stop was in Ombersley where he visited Checketts Fine Foods, a popular local butchers, deli, fishmongers and coffee shop.
Mr Huddleston said: “Worcestershire is a fantastic county for specialist businesses that deliver quality products and excellent customer service.
“The large number of independent and often family run businesses in the county is one of the things that sets it apart from many other parts of the UK.”
